Construction Materials Runner
Backroad Construction is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Project Runner to keep our operations running smoothly. This role supports our crews by handling daily errands, supply runs, and vehicle upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites
- Refill company vehicles with fuel and monitor maintenance needs
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory at the shop
- Coordinate with foremen and office staff for daily task lists
- Maintain accurate delivery and mileage records
- Support general site and yard organization as needed
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and punctual work habits
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Familiarity with construction materials preferred but not required
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time, Monday–Friday
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
